The BMW SIM Racing Team will send four drivers into action for the V10 R-League season: Cem Bölükbasi (TUR), Laurin Heinrich (GER), Coque Lopéz (ESP) and Kevin Siggy (SVN). Since the beginning of its increased involvement in sim racing, BMW has collaborated with various established teams. For example, BMW works drivers made guest appearances in professional sim teams. For the V10 R-League, this collaboration continues. Team Redline’s Kevin Siggy has a close connection to BMW after winning the ABB Formula E Race at Home Challenge in the virtual BMW iFE.20 earlier this year. Coque Lopéz is a Williams Esports driver, bringing a lot of experience in sim racing with him. The same goes for BS+COMPETITION’s Laurin Heinrich and Cem Bölükbasi. Heinrich won the 2020 BMW SIM 120 Cup at the Nürburgring as well as the iRacing 24h Nürburgring powered by VCO this season. Bölükbasi has proved to be fast on various sim platforms – and he is also a successful real-life racer with the BMW M4 GT4 in the GT4 European Series.
